Home Care Services

Live-in Home Care

What it includes
    •    Personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
    •    Companionship: conversation, emotional support, supervision
    •    Medication reminders (not medical administration unless licensed)
    •    Meal prep & light housekeeping
    •    Mobility support: walking, transfers, fall prevention
    •    Overnight presence: help if the client wakes up at night

    •    Seniors who want to age at home
    •    People with disabilities or limited mobility
    •    Clients with Alzheimer’s or dementia
    •    Those recovering from surgery or illness
    •    Anyone who needs constant supervision but not full nursing care

•    The caregiver usually works 10–12 active hours per day
    •    They must be provided:
    •    A private bedroom
    •    Reasonable breaks and sleep time
    •    Care is continuous, unlike hourly care where staff rotate

Live-in care vs 24-hour shift care
    •    Live-in care:
    •    One caregiver
    •    More affordable
    •    Best when nights are mostly calm
    •    24-hour shift care:
    •    2–3 caregivers rotating
    •    No sleep time
    •    More expensive, used for high-need clients

Nursing Visits

This is 24-hour in-home support provided by a caregiver who lives in the client’s home.

    •    Mobility assistance and fall prevention
    •    Companionship and supervision
    •    Light housekeeping and laundry
    •    Support for seniors, disabled persons, or post-hospital recovery

Best for:
People who need continuous daily support but not constant medical treatment. These are scheduled medical visits by a licensed nurse (RN or LPN) who comes for a short time and leaves after care is given.

What it includes:
    •    Medication administration (injections, IVs)
    •    Wound care and dressing changes
    •    Catheter and ostomy care

    •    Post-surgery or post-hospital care
    •    Doctor-ordered skilled nursing tasks

Best for:
People who need medical care, but not 24-hour supervision.
